Soulwaxmas Returns - gerbenlouw - 2008-10-25 21:26:04 let the hype begin from mixhells myspace: 18.dec.2008 20:00 Soulwax Mas TBC 19.dec.2008 20:00 Soulwax Mas TBC 20.dec.2008 20:00 Soulwax Mas TBC Soulwaxmas Returns - sh4gnscoob - 2008-10-25 21:29:57 Yessss i'll finally be in a city where they MIGHT go!! So no word yet on soulwax nye? Soulwaxmas Returns - danalani - 2008-10-25 21:37:00 Soulwax are doing NYE in Birmingham, awwwwww yeah! Soulwaxmas Returns - sh4gnscoob - 2008-10-25 22:04:49 Hoooooo. Should I go to that.... My woman wants me to be in Berlin for NYE... Any idea when the soulwaxmas venues will be released? Soulwaxmas Returns - twenty_foot_chickens - 2008-10-25 22:08:54 2 Many DJs are playing Matter - London on NYE. Great news about Soulwaxmas - I'll be going. Soulwaxmas Returns - JGM - 2008-10-26 00:50:37 OK so now that the news have begun to arrive, I guess I can throw out the piece of info that Bent Van Looy from Das Pop gave me a few weeks ago... One of these date should be in Hasselt, one in Paris and the other one either London or Amsterdam. I can't wait for that to be confirmed, the line up will most certainly be so ridiculously good again. Soulwaxmas Returns - twenty_foot_chickens - 2008-10-26 02:27:02 I wonder if the line-up will change from date to date or whether it'll be a mini tour. If it changes I make it to two or three of the dates. Hopefully there'll be one in London, opposed to Amsterdam - means I can see friends in the process. Obviously Soulwax & 2 Many DJs will be playing; along with Mix Hell and, I presume, Das Pop, but I wonder who else? DJ sets from Justice & Digitalism would be good; Boys Noize, Late of the Pier, Erol, Mr Oizo, SebastiAn would all be good; and I wonder if Soulwax can convince either Tiga to play solo or with ZZT - dunno whether there gonna be live or not. Hot Chip might make an appearance to make up for last year too. Soulwaxmas Returns - Tero - 2008-10-26 10:53:04 third one should be in amsterdam for shure... Soulwaxmas Returns - Gilles - 2008-10-26 11:42:59 I'm pretty pissed they're betraying their loyal Ghent fanbase by moving to Hasselt. Really a let down, appearantly they'll prefer cash over the original idea of 'spending Christmas with friends at home' which was the original Soulwax-Mas' idea... Pretty upset since Flanders Expo last year was perfect, no extremely long waiting lines or overcrowded halls at ay given time. Soulwaxmas Returns - planetsexor - 2008-10-26 11:55:22 Gilles Wrote:Pretty upset since Flanders Expo last year was perfect, no extremely long waiting lines or overcrowded halls at ay given time.I guess you are one of the few who call it perfect... they got a lot of criticism last year, a lot of people complained because it was really cold in the big hall and extremely hot in the hall were soulwax performed. Soulwaxmas Returns - Gilles - 2008-10-26 12:01:25 I'd have to admit I haven't been to the hall Soulwax played in, but for me it did the job pretty well :) never really had to queue anywhere for a long time and haven't been squashed together either... Agreed, the big hall might be a bit cold, but I wasn't there for the big hall :p I'd just be really dissappointed if they did move to Hasselt. I thought Ghent had a special place for Soulwax :p Wouldn't Hasselt give the same problems? Haven't been to the hall but, then again, it's halls. The difference won't be immense, I can imagine. Soulwaxmas Returns - KraMouLox - 2008-10-26 18:00:48 Will be Massive ! A bit disappointing that Soulwax move to Hasselt but, seriously, Hasselt Arena is so much better than Flanders Expo ! Soulwaxmas Returns - JGM - 2008-10-27 17:27:39 Last year (I wasn't there) I think there were bumper cars, but apart from that there wasn't anything really remarkable. Just one party near Christmas with an average line-up : Soulwax, Hot Chip, Justice, Tiga, Boys Noize, Zombie Nation, Goose, 2manydj's, Das Pop, Crookers, Erol Alkan, Riton, Brodinski, Rub-n-Tug, Hong Kong Dong, Fanklub DJ's, one man party, Danielle Baldeli, Die Verboten, Lies & DJ Stephen aka Aeroplane, Ronny Rolex, Kurt Atlantic , Zaki Dewaele Soulwaxmas Returns - Blofeld - 2008-10-27 18:01:06 JGM Wrote:Last year (I wasn't there) I think there were bumper cars, but apart from that there wasn't anything really remarkable. I wonder what events you go to that have such a line-up but whatever... I do believe the record fair was meant to be bigger but don't quote me on that. Now it was basically one stand. Edit: and not to forget special guest Milk Inc :') was epic, lol Soulwaxmas Returns - JGM - 2008-10-27 20:57:52 JGM Wrote:[irony]Fixed Soulwaxmas Returns - the_test - 2008-10-27 21:22:07 Quote:danalani wrote:http://www.ticketweb.co.uk/user/?region=gb_london&query=detail&event=293003 2 venues in 1 night? |
