Alot of the time a good night .. ie with a good line up is filled with "students" and it would be shit without them.. I think people here are banding students with general young people...

Yeah they can be annoying but having been one myself, i know that alot of the times the "studenty" type are the fun ones that have mad after session parties!

I have to agree that most studenty types are complete fuckwanks.

I was at Strathclyde Uni Union the other day and was appalled at how terrible the music this group of johnny borrel-wanna-bes were putting on the jukebox was.

Most students are complete cunts, coming from the perspective of someone who has been to two uni's, has yet to complete a course and will return to uni for a third time in September (finally decided a degree would help get me the hell out of this country)

I live in Manchester,suffice to say i hate them too.Especialy the ones who dont go home after they finish uni,buy shit overpriced flats in decent areas and drive the price of local living up.Annoyingly enough most of the nights i like are attended by students...........maybe im getting too old!

good uni's will breed good students (in tastes of music, aesthetics and behaviour), and vice versa? now that University is open to the masses, what d'you expect if the University concerned isn't a top 15/10? Poly kids become Uni kids.

That's a fucking abominable attitude. 'Good' unis are generally populated by rich boys and girls, who are typically the biggest wankers on the face of the earth. I should know, I went to Leeds Uni to do politics and absolutely hated the vast majority of the people in my faculty. In my experience, rich kids generally have the worst taste in clothes, music and nightclubs, and they talk like complete nobs too.

I work at Leeds Uni and have never met a more clueless, arrogant crowd in my life.

Rugby, Ugg boots, travelling to Thailand, Leeds Uni hoodies, messy streaked blonde hair, The Feeling / Coldplay fans. Absolutely nothing interesting about them whatsoever.
