The mix between Little Boots/SMD starts well but I then had to pause the mix (by pausing each track individually) and so when i resumed and pressed play it messed up totally. So sorry about that. But after that I think its pretty sound..

sooo far the mix into boy 8 bit was really good right until the very end, when you cut out move my body in the middle of a vocal line, otherwise was a really nice blend.
then was all really nice, part from smd/little boots... problem for me wasnt even when you paused them or whatever, just trying to mix together two songs with vocals... doesnt work.

I download the ones with tracklists that I like. I liked the look of this but it looked a bit short, and I tend to only download mixes with 20 or more songs in, as I like longer mixes with structure.....

I think the problem with this scene is that it's so easy to make tunes that it gets saturated with bedroom producers. Nothing wrong with that: the sheer number of producers means that gems are more likely to crop up, but a lot of the time if somebody comes along and I read a post by them in this subforum, and they have 3 posts or something I'm like, well youre just using this community. If you want feedback from the community, it's only fair that you become part of it first. I waited about 2 years before posting any tracks! I just didnt feel comfortable forcing them on other people till I felt justified.

i definitly understand what you mean and feel partially the same way but I bet if Erol decided the forum was too much work and closed it you would regret not taking full advantage of it's possibilites. I like makng threads about masterbating onto my keyboard just as much as the next guy but I also enjoy getting hot fresh tunes for free from unknown producers that ultimatly gives you a real advantage over most DJ's playing shit people have heard. I am not part of any other forums anymore but when I was none of them compared to this one, specially in the way that every artist that posts here is usually right on the money genre wise. But your point is well made too.

Ooooh we've got abit of action. I know the mix from move my body to boy 8 bit is really snappy, i seem to do that alot with some mixes...just get abit hasty and cut quickly. I guess i'm abit scared of how it'll sound if i don't cut it across..

I typically find lots of interesting mixes in this section. I usually ignore ones posted by people who haven't contributed on the forum or have loads of blog tracks. Also links to myspaces/no tracklisting/etc make it easy to ignore something.
I love minimixes because then I can just put them on right after a quick download. The long hour/2 hour mixes can be really shit and not worth hearing and I tend to only put them on the ipod because when I'm at home I don't like to listen to someone else's mix.
Most of the mixes I have downloaded and haven't heard yet are really long. I tend to listen to them way after they were posted and then comment. I probably give more feedback here than anyone, there are only a few posters who aren't just self promoters here.
