kept gettin pestered by them on saturday night telling me not to go see claude von stroke but to go to theyre more expensive night a taxi drive away. they where telling people on the street "dont go in there its empty" when infact it was busiest ive seen chouse on a saturday

I'm doing the mainroom at nice this week, with Micky Hell and Jez Fry (SlothControl- Calcutta Resident) who I've never played with before but I've heard is worth checking out (hence... I've booked him).
Last 2 weeks have been RAMMED downstairs with the club at capacity.
If you've not been before, the absolute parsity of events this weekend provides the best excuse to check it out.

Nice basically just has the best of newcastles residents from other nights playing there on a rotation.
It's been going for 14 years now due to the fact that it has no set musical style.
Downstairs we'll basically move from chuggers to bangers over the course of the night.
All good shit.
Upstairs is mental, rammed to to the rafters
There's normally more beautiful women than you can shake a shitty stick at and the music policy is non existant.
Last time i played up there i managed to play Derrik May, Kool and the Gang, Hot Chip, Prince, DJ Shadow, Earth Wind and Fire, wu tang, 808 state and buraka som sitema all in the same night.
Foss and Graham are absolute legends, they play everything from proper jungle, to the Minder theme music.
If you've never been, then you seriously should check it out.
