Yeah that's the Newcastle line-up, March 6th

On Tiga's myspace it says he's playing the Wax:On in April at Leeds (30th) at Mint - must've moved.

Could do a lot better though... haven't been to Cosmic in ages.

And it's no good - there seems to be a new influx of electro nights being started in Newcastle - asked at The End - already have a couple of similar nights, Red Rooms (they just said no), Camp David (they have the Eat Disco lot doing there thing now), Stereo (have a new night called 'Electric Feel' starting) and World Head Quaters (they have a couple of similar nights).

It's like you said, Newcastle's a bit saturated at the moment. I was thinking about organising a monthly thing at Popolo's bar - but there's not really much room for dancing in that place except for the staircase! So it's not going well tbh.

Electric Feel is at Cosmic, Wednesdays.

We considered Stereo last year. Just seems to be let go and gets a lot less folk making the trip down with so much going on more central

I'd say yeah in many ways Newcastle is being saturated, but there's a few of us who've stuck it out over the past 2 years through utter dead end no life in the city to a few heads here and there. There may very well be a few too many people jumping on the promotions wagon but you tend to find their ideas are short lived or just half arsed. Newcastle; I reckon is trying to find it's feet again after way to long in the wilderness. So only time will tell what happens over the next few months.

What you trying to put on anyhow?

Paul

P.S: Cheers to anyone who came to EatDisco on Friday gone for my birthday, it was sick.

No i dont think it is that. There are 2 stages, one on the Gateshead side of the river which is the dance stage and the on the Newcastle side is the main stage. Thats what its always been, just this time the dance stage is hosted by wax on.

nah bellyscratch is right i think

i only thought it was a day for each one because thats the way 20 foot chickens posted it on here

would make way more sense for the dance stage to be both days , one for the dnb dubsteppy stuff and one for electro

The Wax:On event will definitely be on the sunday (24th) at baltic sqaure, with bands on both the 24th at spillers wharf, and on monday (25th) at both venues. that's come from the organisers.
