im guessing he was on really late on in the room at the top of the stairs , was about 200 degrees in there though and not looking all that busy

Mehdi was pretty amazing. was on 3-5 and played lots of bangers to keep the crowd going all the way to 5. phones didnt turn up but mehdi made up for it in the end. loved the

That was the best Mehdi set ive ever seen or heard, in fact its arguably the best DJ set ive had since I can remember. Definately overtook Boys Noize at Warehouse and Erol at Newcastle. Prob cos we'd be waiting 4 hours for decent music(although Fergies extended set wasnt as bad as I expected) and when he came on I was expecting more of his fun style but instead he just blasted us for 2 solid hours with heavy mostly recognisable tracks. You always know its good when one of my mates stands still and doesnt dance for 2 hours as its not his thing :D.

I reckon there was only one track I wasnt completely raving my life away to. Never took a single sec of video footage either, always a good sign. And he was 100 percent focused on the decks and barely looked up at all during first hour. Dunno if it was just me but im still amazed at how much I enjoyed it.

yeah he played after us...it was fucking boiling in there! not being able to see our records was a little tough...and they need to sort out the monitoring in that room really *grumble grumble* ;)

really enjoyed the night though, popped down to see luciano afterwards and it was thankfully much cooler

I think its a bit of a joke how dark and smokey they make it, just beyond daft.

haha i was talking to my mate last week and we realised that out of about the 30 times weve been to digital since starting uni ive never actually seen what room 2 looks like , its always either pitch black or the smoke machine has gone totally akabusi and blinded everyone

did see what it was like this week though but sadly it was like a sauna.

hmm MIA... was looking at the poster in the pizza shop and considering it but mates are all off to cosmic ballrooms as we usualy do on a tuesday so ill probly end up there
