what did he get ? i dunno who the rider is , well i do because he always wears that suit but i forgot his name , it all depends if he won or not , its a timed race and there will of been loads of them doing it

i dunno... i prefer it on the mountains

eg this , the guy they are timing against is pretty much the schumacer of downhill riding

and the rocky bits would be tricky enough just to walk down

Yeah, the videos of downhill stuff doesn't do it justice at all. Same as skiiing, you dont realise how steep some bits can be.

That must be so annoying for the commentator that keeps trying to say stuff only to have the other one shout "Oh My God!" over the top of him constantly.

These videos are cool. I think the POV ones are so impressive as you get a better measure for the speed they are traveling at. Probably a silly question but how do they get to the top of the hill again after each run? Could not be bothered biking back up again personally!

a lot of the events are on ski resorts during the summer which then turn into bike resorts , so ski lifts

or at worst the back of a pickup

ha that guy whos creaming is annoying as hellbut to be fair to him its probably one of the fastest runs anyone will ever do

If you're lucky enough to be riding one of the big ones (like Fort William) there'll be a chairlift, most of the time it's a ride, bacl of a van or a push back to the top.

I would be an absolute mess trying to go down one of those courses. I'd be lucky to make it down the first ramp without plowing into a post or the crowd.
