Just to get some more and maybe even more electronic music ideas, for the new Summer 2011 song...
Post what you think, it could be the best for this summer... All genres are still welcome, but I'm very interested in an Electro House song that represents this years summer... And just to start, again; I heard that the new and upcoming Swedish House Mafia song 'Save the World Tonight' is going to become the new summer Hit... |

That's not a tricky thing. It's harder to do something fresh. BOYS NOIZE

I've been realizing a bit, that the females often like those boy-like vocals, e.g. like Jasper Forks (I just don't remember any other name now...) but I'm also looking for the, maybe, most popular song for this summer, like 'We No Speak Americano' was last year... |

Barbra Streisand is still hot.
Don't get caught up in the machine, get caught up in your own imagination |

It's decent but not 'big' or anything. Bit bored of it already. Aloe Blacc is a definite contender for stuff this summer, Zinc's mix is pretty good yeah but again bit tired of it. |

It's this:
Pretty sure it came out ages ago, but I heard it three times the other night. Not that bad as far as commercial house goes, but I can see it getting irritating very fast. "I feel confident that in the event of us selling ten million albums we would definitely go out and buy a submarine... just to be able to say 'Look we've got a submarine and 808 State haven't'." |

I was hearing different versions of 'Hello' in the club, but even in last years summer... it is still great - Dada Life has done a lot of remixes of this song for ages - but I, would say it was last years club/commercial banger, though everyone still wants to hear it...

I'm guessing it'll get re-released soon. I think Black Rose - Anthem has a decent chance of being the No Speak Americano/Why Dont You of 2011. Much love from Pete Tong, old repeated sample, straight forward formulated banger. Seems accessible enough for mainstream play, and tbf if anyone deserves a massive crossover hit its Henrik Schwarz and Jesse Rose.
