Sunday 16th November @ The Faversham, Leeds.

9pm - late, nice chilled sunday sesh...

THE PROXY (Turbo)
FELIX CARTAL (Dim Mak)
DISTINCTION (Dub Police)
POLAROID SOUNDSYSTEM (Leeds)
CLUB GO / YMLE CREW (York/Leeds)

+ Locals / Residents to be added

Advance tickets available from http://jumborecords.co.uk/ticket.asp

With probably my favourite line up we've ever put on, we have two of the worlds hottest Electro producers alongside one of the UKs sickest up and coming dubstep DJ / producers. Expect sore ears in the morning.

THE PROXY

Russian wonderkid Yevgeny has in the space of a year achieved what most producers dream of. From his incendiary first track, Destroy, he gained the attention of none other than Turbo Records boss Tiga who went so far to say that this first track might be the best Russian song ever made. Luckily Proxy has surpassed this with each of his releases since and with tracks such as Decoy, Dancing in the Dark, a remix for Moby and the upcoming Raven been some of the most hyped and most hotly anticipated tracks in all of dance music in 2008 surely the Russian youth has a lot more up his sleeve and if his ridiculous live sets are anything to go by you will not be disappointed. His unique mix of heavy synths, harsh basslines and clever use of sampling make him one of the most interesting producers around at the moment. A rare chance to see him in a more intimate venue compared to his usual gigs at Fabric, Bugged Out and superclubs all over the world so don't miss it!

FELIX CARTAL

We've been trying to get the Canadian up and comer Felix for well over a year now and finally we've got him for Leeds. Consistantly one of our favourite producers since we first heard 'Moss vs. Tree' back in 2006 he's been putting out even bigger tracks and remixes pretty much monthly for varied artists such as Ashlee Simpson and Dragonette to Hostage and Franz and Shape. With constant tours all over the world he has built a massive rep as been one of the most hard working and hard hitting DJs out there, and with a monster USA tour coming up supporting MSTRKRFT as a warm up for a select few UK dates its only a matter of time before he ends up huge with his own unique brand of catchy techy electro with hooks that other producers would kill for and that you'll have in your head for weeks after.

DISTINCTION

Leeds very own dubstep souljah, regarded by many as the Norths No.1 Dubstep/Grime representative, Distinction is held accountable for single handedly bringing the sounds to Leeds in the form of fresh 10 inch Dubplates and an exceptional DJ style. His persistence and passion for the music has resulted in educating and converting many people into Grime/Dubstep and has also seen his name regularly appear at a vast number of large established events across Leeds and beyond such as Transmission, Valve Sound System, Dizzee Rascals Dirtee Stank Tour, Kanos UK Tour, Dubstep pioneering event FWD in East London, the infamous DMZ in Brixton, and also did an 11 day tour across San Francisco, USA playing at events such as Love Parade, Grime City & Phuturo plus more. His efforts on dominating the North with the fast growing sounds havent gone unnoticed as he was recently nominated for Best Souljah in the Dubstep Awards 05 and gained a final position in the top 3. Production is another talent of Distinctions who has currently been signed to Dub Police and received airplay on Kiss 100 and also on Radio One from alternative music legend Mary Ann Hobbs. Within Dubstep he has gained support from key players in the scene such as Hatcha, M.R.K.1, The Plastician, N Type, Distance and various other DJs on the worlds leading Grime/Dubstep station, Rinse 100.3 FM.

POLAROID SOUNDSYSTEM

If you've been around Leeds for a while then you'll have no doubt been to the monthly rave in the cave these boys hold at Wire. Having brought to Leeds, Erol Alkan, Boys Noize, Brodinski, Tim Sweeney, Joakim, Headman and Radioslave amongst many others, Joe and Nick have a cracking eye for talent and also cracking skills on the decks so expect some of the best disco styled electro to acid house from these long standing members of the Leeds scene.

CLUB GO / YMLE CREW

Some good friends of ours from Club Go in York and Your Mum Likes Electro here in Leeds will be at hand to help get you all warmed up for the inevitable madness. Recent gigs with Matt Walsh, Riotous Rockers and Diplo give you a good idea where these boys are coming from but expect a bit of everything!

Bit of an update, gonna have tickets in Jumbo and Crash tomorrow, theres been tonnes of people ringing the Fav about ordering tickets already so if your travelling for this it might be worth getting a ticket in advance as from the sounds of it it's looking to be a very busy one. Ill put an online ticket link up as soon as i get it.

New poster too, expect these all over Leeds in a week or so!

Theres a ticket link in the first post too now. Judging by the amount of calls the Fav are getting these tickets arent gonna sit around for long so get on it!

Only 2 weeks to go now, advance tickets are selling very well so be advised to get one early to avoid queueing and possibly missing out as judging by all the interest this will be absolutely roadblock.

They're available in the lovely Jumbo and Crash in Leeds city centre but you can also order online through their stores:

http://www.jumborecords.co.uk/2Fticket.asp

or;
