Part 1 was posted 2/3 weeks ago but im putting it up here again because its a nice deep blend of tracks which acts as a good warm up to part 2 and some may have missed it first time round! part 2 is new though.Don't expect wonk, minimal, annoying "white noise" style electro, disco, do expect house grooves and broken techno rhythms (part 2). If u like listening to different music rather then the usual fodder...click the link!

Tracklistings; Mix (part 1)

1,Biologik- Roman Hoff
2,Disco Hit- Grant Dell, Richie Littler
3,The Snake- Jussi- Pekka
4,New Galaxy Love- Nivek Tsoy

6, El Sunset - Ricardo Tobar
7,set it off (butch dub)- Butch and Amir
8,Lucky Punch - Peter Dildo
9.Minor Planets- Shanky
10,No Return (Josh Winks Acid Dub)- Spooky

One man's fodder is another man's gold... This looks like just the kind of tracklist that the Faith fanzine brilliantly lampooned this month (ie 30-something house fans)... I love Up by Speith, and play a few of those tunes. I am a bit uncomfortable that Beatport seems to be pushing me into the Disney techno cul de sac though. I WILL fight back!

Have to admit, i've never heard of Peter Dildo, but i shall definitely endevour to check him out with a name like that.

i have no idea what faith fanzine is, im only 21...so does that make incredibly mature?! Master c , no ones forcing u to mix some of these tunes!! i just play what interests me, plus i attend fabric on saturdays not fridays so thats obviously influencing, (but saturdays is for the purists....) u could always start playing some hip hop slash r n b slash sisqo meets diana ross slash help...stevie wonder?!!

No, you don't JUST play what interets you, you present your musical embedded between inflammtory, snotty opinions about other people's tastes. Who are you to say what is annoying or fodder, although if there's any perception of irony contained within, you'll probably be aware by now that we share many musical inclinations, it's just your arrogance that gets up my nose.

The Faith fanzne doesn;t make me feel anything, it's just another view of dance music to that contained herin, it will be some time before I begin to swear by its content, I should hope.

And for future reference, 'chunky' is perhaps the most irritating dance music adjective there is, nexct to 'up-front' or 'filthy' :)

Haha!

I may joke about, but I'm pretty sure I used the phrase "let's 'av it" when watching Underworld on Sunday. I don't think I was being ironic, either.

Spooky and Regis aren't exactly unknowns, either....

Didn't Jon Pleased Wimmin champion "Chunky House" about ten years ago? And - my - wasn't it fabulous?

You know, the beginner's guide to techno... The flimsy, forgettable novelty stuff that you end up buying and can;t remember what it is in the monring. One night stand techno. Fast food techno. Chunky funky upfront tech house mate.

personally i dont see what all the fuss is about, fodder wasnt suppose to be taken sooo seriously! and since when has this forum been about discussing labels/identities i thought we were a bit beyond that?? i like the music on ur mix, casper and to be honest there is no difference from one night stand techno and novelty crate digging, im not as snooty as may mistakenly come across but sorry if u feel annoyed.

It's really hard to discover good music when you live in a place like I do (West Virginia). It's basically the worst place you could possibly think of to obtain or even find out about good music
