Oh no a label got popular and then another label came along and got a bit more popular, but hey wait NME just told me about another label that I have to like more than the other label that was popular... and so on...

(what label should I be into this week?)

business acumen is one of the best kitsuné releases ever (including the oldies)

Time will tell of course but I am inclined to agree.

I would possibly go as far as to say that it's my track of the year (along with something by Popof as well).

erm, was anyone from on here there?

i did a headcount... 34 people at best...not including the punks and beni.

autokratz were really good, punks played some lovely stuff as did beni (managed to get 3 of us to sit down for Raven) , despite there being NO ONE there , heartsrev got their stuff stuck in the van or something so that was a shame. i hope the other dates on the tour have been a bit more lively....

I second that thought......

Just goes to show how things change, last year I went to a couple of Kitsune parties and they were jam packed full of Shoreditch trendies barging me out of the way.....

But then, what Kitsune parties have I been to this year?????

Still enjoy the compilations though, its just that we are so exposed to similar style music now that we are not so impressed by the Kitsune releases, before this we were killing ourselves to get hold of the new release and to get the tracklistings. Kitsune were ahead of their time 4 years ago.

xx

true, and it's funy cos leeds is like 2 years behind in the hott stuff - this line up 2 years ago would have been unheard of, even last year. hence me coming down your way all these years to hear the good stuff - but at least some people in leeds are pushing the good stuff (polaroid and heads up being a couple) and the faversham has been getting good bookings for ages, so at least i'm not too starved.
