I've heard rumblings of a Michael Jackson DJ Set, with Barack Obama as MC. Would be heavy if it happens.

Course I'm still trying to ween myself off the grape, but at least my blood's now so thin I'll probably live to 106.

is this DJ A La Fu?

well its like a 2 minute walk from all the bars at grassmarket but they tend to be very busy.

you could try some of the quieter bars on and just off the royal mile.

Edinburghs a bit rubbish for pubs (IMO).

Sugarbeat certainly gets some pretty incredible bookings for such a small venue, I much prefer it now to seeing people at The Arches in Glasgow.

Aeroplane are in Glasgow on the 30th May too, I'm not sure I'm going to survive my birthday weekend with that double header!

I think it's sold out. I've a mate who tried Ripping and Tickets Scotland yesterday and they had none.
You could always try at the door?

Yeah even at the back you could barely move.
Still had a decent night though.

Rat Alert was probably my favourite song of the night. Sounded SO heavy.

you are so right about rat alert, sounding heavy.

I was a bit disappointed to be honest. Was well to busy if they wana let that many people in they should put a big screen and speakers in the second room so people can go through there to. Pressure done that at the arches for boys noize and i would say it was an amazing idea. I pisses me off when people crowd round the decks as well. I am not saying not to go up and grab a photo or what ever but they were loads of folk up there all night hanging around like groupies! I really enjoyed his set except the end with the gossip and stuff. What about the tune after mind dimension tho..... Loved it. Anyone know the one i mean or know the name?

My sentiments exactly. I was on the dance floor for about half of the first song then decided to bin it. We hung around at the bar then went back down towards the end. I think the promotor or the club or whoever has to address the issue in the future, putting boy 8 bit on in the back room at the same time as erol would have helped. I think the tune your refering is an etienne de crecy remix of a robbie rivera tune...its big.
