Yoda is pretty amusing, Scratch Perverts are just straight up Geezers, they kill it every time.

They we both (well all 4) really amazing, played a whole range of exciting stuff. I think they would kill most "Electro" djs anyday of the week, they were playing allsorts of old tracks the crowd was generally going mental from start to finish!
To be honest both acts played a fair bit of Electro and "Fidget"in their sets, the perverts played the mandatory WHP08 classics Kids (Soulwax Remix) and Mars.lol. Was alot less hiphop than I remembered them being so I was quite surprised, but it was way more danceable which was wicked! Another two off my list of people to see! |

first thing i was gonna do today was post how good yoda was last night but clearly got beat to it.
Indieana jones theme, brown eyed girl, i just called to say i love you, mixed in with loads of crookers. sounded just like their essential mix. can honestly say thats one of the most eye opening and quite brilliant sets ive seen |

Just gives a wider perspective into the world of music, both acts pretty much played a bit of every genre under the sun, loved Yoda's Dancehall and reggae bits!! Indiana jones was massive! As said above it was a real eye-opener! I pretty much knew most of the stuff they played but couldn't help but think that I need to listen to more music.
I think it was one of the best nights the warehouse have had on this year! Also, how sweaty was room 2!?!?!?!?! you could literally feel sweat drippin onto you from the ceiling..bad times... |

Despite my short attention span Im not much of a fan of yoda dj sets. His AV sets with the scratchable DVDs are bloody entertaining however.

Scratch Perverts ALWAYS kill it, I must have played with them 15+ times over the last 10 years, and they have always been just immense, and now with Plus One in the ranks they are completely next level. I actually saw Jack Beats last night (aka Benji from the Mixologist, Plus One is his production partner in that project) and that was great too, if a bit more of a conventional electro/fidget DJ set.
Yoda I find very hit and miss, when he's good he's awesome, when he isn't I find it all just a bit too twee. True story - I met my girlfriend of 5 years in Yoda's hotel room! lol. |

Their essential mix is incredible, I'm sure DJ Google will be able to hook you up.

Believe it or not I saw Scratch Perverts at a Morgans Spiced promo night. They were UNREAL.
"Stand By" is still on of the most "oooomph"-filled tracks in my collection. |

lost count of the number of times i've booked the SP's, and they have delivered every single time.
They'll never beat their Snowbombing 'Beatdown' night with the Foreign Beggars and Dynamite MC in 2007. I've never ever seen a club go off like that ever, and probably never will. Crowd surfing, stage dives, beer flying everwhere - totally nuts. Got that set somewhere - must upload it sometime.... |

Had to make a choice between this night and the Erol and Friends night for WHP. Hope I've made the right decision!
