Forum Summer Tour

So, was thinking baout this earlier, how ace would it be to get a bunch of djs/promoters/acts all on tour round the uk in the summer?

of course we'd need promoters to step in and book places, even small venues, wherever.
it wouldnt really be about the money, something to do instead of a summer job.

who would be up for it? get a van or a minibus going... think of the banter...


of course, we could film it and make it the greates tour video ever.

Definitely interested! I think everyone should put a donation in to pay for the bits and bobs, are you volunteering to organize it or shall we leave that to the Mat we know as Payne?

i've driven my mates' tour bus a few times and i've not got a special licence.

i think as long as it's under 9 folk

well, if you guys don't mind sleeping in one big room i could maybe organise a party here (holland, in a town called hilversum, 25 minutes from amsterdam) in a nice squat, so i'll talk to the guy who owns it, see how much money we could take.

edit: the room where you'll be sleeping wont be in the squat, but in my house which is pretty nice.

tour video-wise, i dont' mind filming every living second of it, and my brother who is doing a degree in film editing can edit it well

You lot do realise that our behaviour will have to be utterly mental in order to make the film worth watching don't you? Here's a few suggestions for ways to spice up the Erol Forum tour film:

Dale Fromage's hair is set on fire, so he jumps in a canal to put it out,
OneMoreDisco gets hooked on coke/skag/fig rolls and we follow his dramatic rise and fall,
Calum Stuart wakes up on a roundabout, naked,
I am blip spontaneously combusts
Coin Operated Boy discovers he's losing his hearing/takes coke/hallucinates giant badger etc.
