i think trying to get one big night done to test our capabilities as a group at organising something is the best way forward.

Clubnight promoting is hard enough when your putting on a big name, never mind 20 kids off a forum that will only pull in their mates who will all expect to be on the guestlist anyway.

i don't know how the financials of a glasto tent work out, but the big benefit of doing that kind of set up is that people are there anyway, and will be attracted to come and dance by the array of booms and blips as they walk past. and glastonbury could do with a more little dancey places late at night. we would then need something for it to function as in the day, which may be where earning money comes in. i know the lock tavern tent did lovely tea and cakes in the days, and parties by night...

this thread has been like a roller coaster reading it from start till now! haha but yeah, i dont do any promoting/dj'ing but id agree with heads ups comment. however if somethin does come about id be up for attending, would be a good laugh |
