Would it be worth actually giving some big labels/manufacturers a nudge and see if they want in on this, like an exposure night? It might not work, but never know.

the times when i've spoken to erol in the past, he is very in touch with the small man, likes playing smaller venues etc. likes giving people a hand up, hes that kind of guy. its definiately worth asking him about it. maybe get mat to approach him or someone similar.
