The definitive monthly rave-up at the Lock Tavern, ASBO is an exploration of cosmic sounds, techy grooves and seminal guilty pleasures and balearica. Tonight's special guest comes shrouded in mystery. All that needs to be said is that he lives and breathes disco, and is sure to delight an adoring crowd tonight. His podcast of the same name was one of the best of 2008.

Continuing with eccentric mix of pop-electro-punk-new wave-mutant garage trash, Helsinki's Les Corps Mince De Francoise take to the satge, a female trio sure to rock any dancefloor with their crossover electronic-ghetto-pop-punk grooves. Some very special live guests to be confirmed nearer the time, with DJ support from Bugged Out's Brendan Long, Chibuku's Wandy and Nick Cave.

It's a very special 'Small Disco' tonight, as we welcome math-rock stallions, and future megastars, Foals, for a special DJ set, showcasing their discerning taste in post-punk, disco, and pop. We Have Band (Kitsune) dj set
Stopmakingme & Singleton djs

AITBF/Kill Em All resident Stopmakingme and fellow Pure Groove honcho (and beef eater) Mr.Singleton, have been causing quite a storm upstairs at the Lock Tavern all summer. Think the most amazing loft party you could imagine, albeit with the Bugsy Malone theme tune thrown in amongst the Born Ruffians, lost house gems, Esser, Lil' Kim and Fleetwood Mac records. Crate digging without the crates - and way more fun. Kitsune endorsed band of the moment, We Have Band, also weigh in with their own collection of punk-funk and leftfield pop.

Getting there early for the Disco 3000yness.

Last time a certain mystery guest was there, it was one in one out of the lock tavern at 8.30 with a humongous queue to boot.

Still, any excuse for an all day-er.

(ooh and it closes at 3am ! lovely!)

it's probably best to get there for midday and park yourself on a sofa upstairs and gorge on the tasty lock burgers all day
