I have to wait for the box set. I can't deal with a weeks wait between episodes!

I always wanted to start watching 24 but never got into it. Might book a week off work, rob Zavvi and lose my mind.

i kinda prefer waiting for a week between the eps, cos it builds up the excitement levels. plus, the one time i watched it on dvd, i watched about 5 or 6 in a row, and it suddenly seemed a bit ridiculous, but i can ignore this on tv.

Definitely make it some kind of priority....
Be warned: the first half of Season 3 is pretty slow, but after that, you're in the clear. Just watched Season 6 before christmas and they do somehow seem to get even better....more ridiculous, but better.

That's exactly what happens every season, yeah. Think Big Brother Live with international terrorists.

What series is 24 up to now btw?
7, I think. There was that recent Redemption film that bridged 6 & 7, but apparently it's poor. Shame, cos I think it had some important plot points that I'll be lost without....

speaking of which....Lost...........that's the real TV gold for all the REALLY patient out there......

Or do what I did and watch series 2-whatever were upto now in 4 days.

You lot still watch Heroes or has the novelty of Ali Larter and Hayden Pancake wore off?
I watched Series 1 of Lost IN ONE DAY......beat that, world......what......there's a world out there?

I gave up on Heroes when the end of S1 turned out to be completely shite.

yeah, it's on series 7 now... the 24:redemption thing wasn't as good, but you didn't miss much... the main plot points can be picked up pretty quickly in the first episode of series 7... basically, ctu's gone, jack was in hiding in some african country because he was wanted by department of justice on torture charges, ended up getting tricked into going back to usa in order to save some kids' lives from the militia uprising in the african country, which the new woman president wants to invade. and then it starts....

I cannot wait for Season 5. I'm trying so hard not to look at Spoilers and stuff.

Thats not technically true from what I saw.

The outgoing president (one from previous 24 with the big head) evacuated US nationals from the african country before the new birds inauguration. She wanted them to stay and she wanted to send troops in to help the current regime hold off the rebels, who are a right bunch of scummers. Child armies etc. Some right wrong 'uns in the US (you know powerful blokes with ties) have funded the rebels as they want to 'buy' the african country. Who knows why, diamonds or some shit maybe.
