This week Bang Bang brings you a DJ set from awesome Oxford based band Foals who set the scene alight last year with their album "Antidotes".

The five piece dance-rock act have shaken up the new music scene citing influences from minimal techno, Kraut rock, electro and live performances; so its no wonder they’ve burst on to the scene carving their way through the crowd and into the hearts of the alternative music masses. Their sometimes-surreal lyrics magnify the unique sound that can only described as “just different”.

So what can you expect when you see them? An explosion of energy from start to finish, and an event that is intimate and fun. "What’s up with this barrier? If anyone wants to come up here, feel free. We’re not going to mug you." Yannis – Foals front man.

I used to run something of a similar name - in fact the same name, but in Birmingham! Along the same lines too.
There's something very good about that name for me. I've only recently put it to bed actually, but i still DJ under the name Dave Bang!
