Is it me or is Glasgow kinda lacking the big nights that were around about a month ago?
or am I just bad at looking...
Popof and Nathan Fake to look forward to so far... any advances?

Also Kavinsky on Friday which is going to be schweeet.

I agree with what the person above said. I often find the opposite - that there's too much to choose from in Glasgow at the moment. Every weekend the Arches, the Subby, the Art School and now V-club seem to host something worth going to. Also worth watching for good nights are The Admiral, Blackfriars, Classic Grand, Soundhaus, Club Sixty Nine in Paisley, The Flying Duck and Stereo. There is literally ALWAYS something good on, but you do have to hunt for it.

Yeh i always find that theres too much to do and not enough money + brain cells to keep up!!!

Popof on 3rd April should be amazing!!

Ive heard Kavinsky is a terrible dj tho.......which is disappointing as I would have thot he would be really good....so think i may give it a miss!!

Mite go to Cadgebaby if I can afford it but may save myself for Frankmusik at Death Disco :D

I dunno if I'll head to DD this month, I wasn't very impressed by the lineup. Annie Mac presents shows are normally really good but a Mystery Jets DJ set and Twitch (who we can all see every week at Optimo anyway) doesn't really cut it for me. (I think there was a thread on this somewhere). Frankmusik might just about sway it for me though.

next 4 weekends are amazin. carl craig, pilooski, flying lotus & hudmo, daniel baldelli. quality!

goin to rockness & exit meself i think.
also ive seen some decent nights in club 69 paisley, but paisley is an absolute shit pile and it would take a truely outstanding act to get me over there, my dad lives there and i avoid going over there to see him as much as possible, its totally pish.

I've had enough of this Paisley blasphemy! It's the cultural centre of the west of Scotland...modeselektpr played 69 after their t in the park slot last year, used to work with a close friend of the organisers! Pilooski and carl craig are the only 2 exciting things happening this month. There's just a lack of good things on at good venues. I, for one, think the V club is a midden of a place for example and am only going to Popof because he's easily one of my favourite producers.

Why are all the vocals pitched down so low?

I do fancy the fat hug that is the sub club, rather than the V club where you feel like you've just been chewed up and spat out

had flying lotus' album for a while but never managed to listen all the way through, one of my least enjoyed purchases. Just wasn't feeling it at all.
