Not sure if anyone's mentioned this yet, but this is brilliant.

Listening to the first track I can imagine her in a Bjork get-up prancing about like Kate Bush. So very obvious influence, but still quite captivating.

Going to seen Bat For lashes on Monday night in Cambridge, on the back of completely falling in love with "Daniel". Now cribbing up on her other stuff......

Really looking forward to it, kind of expecting Lykke Li type girly, beautiful singing.

Anyone seen them before?

xx

yeah, i saw them at connect a couple of years ago and the setting (next to a loch, surrounded by mountains) complimented them superbly, i think they may have had bits of tree in their hair

saw them again supporting radiohead last year but there was a power-cut which cut their set short and no-one was really paying any attention anyway, shame

All excited off to my first gig in six months, since saving my pennies for getting wed and having to move out to the arse of end nowhere.......

Great, Bat For Lashes in Cambridge, I will book that. Would be nice to have a beer or two, but shit no trains (Bank Holiday). Never mind, get in the car and have a lovely time on that one beer.

Drive in car for 20 minutes, then hit traffic jam, FOR THREE HOURS!!!!!!!!

There is only one road in and out of Bury Bloody St Edmunds. Missed the gig, in fact was still miles away as they were due on stage.

Very, very unhappy and feeling very sorry for myself.

Anyone else go? (Bet it was rubbish).........

:( :( :(
