I've never had a games console :(

my mates all used to have a commodore64 we'd play daley thompsons decathalon and knack up the Z and X buttons running. pain in the arse loading the tapes for twenty minutes to watch it crash in the 19th minute.

Only came outside to watch the nightfall with the rain...

Ahh the good old days.
Never had a NES. Downloaded this on the virtual console and the water level with the logs and jumping fish nearly made me hurl the wii remote through the tv screen in frustration.

I had one of those Pong games (there was about 50 other games on it, all a mild variation of Pong) think I bought it at a school jumble sale for 10p or something...

I also had one of these:

Which my Dad gave me, proper old skool laptop PC which even had a built in Modem! The LCD screen was rubbish and couldn't handle scrolling very well, but I used to play Sim City and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade - The Graphical Adventure on it :)

I loved those Lucasarts games. Monkey Island, Fate of Atlantis, Day of the Tentacle. All quality.

Carmageddon was great. I dont think I ever won a race. I just won by smashing up the competition as i remember. Great game though, the replay option was quality

Abe's Odyssey want pretty excellent, but perhaps that's not old enough to be considered retro.

5th Gear was my favourite Amiga game I seem to recall, and I really dug the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game for the NES:

Ahh, I had the first turtles game on the NES, the nightmares I got because of the underwater level (where you had to disarm the bombs) haunt me to this day :(

Anybody played Little Nemo on the NES? Not that well known but a really brilliant Jump n Run.
