Aye, I tried it on for near enough an hour with Dead Disco's live drummer who was better than all the other girls in the band. No luck.

the singles have been not bad...but the hype has been ridiculous from day one
she was supposed to be some new undiscovered girl with no deal when it was blogged, then we hear oh it was produced by joe from hot chip...bit odd for an unknown...then we find out of she was in previous band dead disco....then suddenly she's got a deal already with a major....then she has a soft release single...suddenly she's playing solo on jools holland later WTF....serious over hype there....radio and sales wise she has had no real impact...it's great being on a major...she has had all this hype...video's filmed in la with loads of dancers etc
, ability to get her onto major events/tours shows etc ..but if there aint hits from this lp and the hype doesnt translate into sales...it will be over before its even began...even great songs don't equate sales...ask roisin murphy, killer crossover pop dance lp and her live show was killer ....think she is looking for a new deal after being on parlaphone....on a better note....little boots is a really good dj and played some great tracks when i saw her..and a really nice person. just think label are pushing it too hard for what it is.

yeah she's a awesome DJ - definitely been shoehorned into doing the band thing very quickly by label and management

Here's a real Little Boots update fresh from last night



she played two brand new songs that are great and don't sound like her (bland) new single, they're closer to Stuck on Repeat. Also she is really really tiny (smaller than me and I'm only 5'3) and she can rock a leather minidress, alright.

I have been won over to the blonde camp. It makes her look like some kind of cosmic angel :)
