It's also obvious that you haven't touched windows for quite some time, as bluescreen isn't something that happens if things go wrong in windows after win2k. As for things going wrong, I have experienced one single system hangup in three years time with windows, and that was due to a hard drive going bye bye.

But as said, if you prefer something else than Windows, then there's no problem installing OSX on PCs. Why I'm condescending towards Apple people are because they're recommending people to buy stuff they don't really need and thus waste money without understanding that what you're buying is a repackaged PC with a different OS. If you think it's condescending of me to tell people that what Apple are all about is marketing, I can live with that.

They've branded a very specific kind of image surrounding their computers, and that's what you pay for. If you want to pay for it, fine. But don't try packaging it like you're buying a better product, because you aren't. It's a similar product in a different wrapping.

yes thats right, i tried it ~1 year ago, everything was working great except my sound & my wifi (centrino).
I heard more recently they created (not sure) drivers for centrino wifi, and i know there is drivers for some sound chipset.
