I always want to do something like this but i don't really understand all the ins and outs of American Football.
I once went to a Jets home game which was pretty immense though the best thing about it was the half time entertainment. They pulled 4 of the drunkest people i've ever seen from the crowd and got them to catch punts for prizes. |

i'm looking foward to next year's fantasy football (soccer) league. I've come 3rd twice in a row out of about 40 teams so I feel this is my year. Is there an Erol Forum league?

I'll join the league if you admit that the winners of the Superbowl aren't actually world champions of anything.
Those are my terms. |

Answer
Spalding guide of america in 1887 named it "Worlds championship Series" (later shortened to world series) in the hope that other nations such as "Australia and Great Britain" would soon play and "become rivals"...none have. Also, as it was american league and national league meeting, then a bigger name was used..world....as regards america hoping Australia then Great Britain would play it, source states... "This didn't happen, but the name "World's Championship Series" stuck.. http://roadsidephotos.com/baseball/name.htm toronto and montreal did join and therefore it was not just the u.s.a. Also manny players from around the world play in the MLB |
