Watched the Book of Eli last night. Better than I expected, ending felt a little flat though.

I was not a fan of Enter The void. I mean sure, it's well directed, it's beautiful to look at, and all that, but it's just....so effortful to watch. I mean, it isn't disturbing per se, but it made me....uncomfortable. That and the nearly 3 hour runtime, the various dizzying tracking shots, epilepsy enducing neon, and the periods of literally, total nothingness. I assume it's better high though

I was bored last week so watched:

Limitless - I enjoyed the first 25 mins, basically until he started taking the drugs, then it just got really stupid

The Truman Show - classic film, one of Carey's best if not his best

Due Date - meh, had it's funny parts, not amazing but enjoyable. Not Todd Philips best.

Zack and Miri make a Porno - really funny, Seth Rogen's one dimensional performance was enjoyable , Elizabeth Banks is also so hot

Not a film, but in the middle of watching series 2 of Bored To Death, would definitely recommend.

This is indeed true.

I watched The Blind Side last night. Itt felt like my emotions were being manipulated in Oscar-winning style. But I liked it overall. Sandra bullock was a bit scary though.

I liked it. How i couldn't, it's written, produced and acted by Seth Rogen. It's like Kickass, nonsense but enjoyable. You can't convince me that it's not well shot film, but this is the most important in this genre.

Scream 4... Not great really.

But as 4th movies in a series go, miles better than Indiana Jones and Kingdom of Crystal Skulls

Many years ago there was light, and that light was the light which was lightening wobble wobble wobble and Erol danced; kids kept him dancing. This is an example of the holy power of apple crumble.

Worth it for Emma Stone though

saw Scream 4 too, was alright, I wasn't expecting much anyway. What alarmed me more was the state of Courtney Cox's face.

Watched American Psycho for the first time, enjoyed it but now think I'll read the book after reading some of the reviews and comparisons. Christian Bale decent as usual.

I just read Stephen Fry's 'The Liar' for the first time the other day. Hilarious, but indeed, brutally, morbidly graphic. For different reasons. Give it a whirl if you want your good taste compass challenged.

Being made in to a film, too, featuring Fry and Sir Ian McKellen.

'Can you confirm that this is, in fact, geniune Dickens?'

Now this is how it started, my dreams all broken hearted yet i want you, baby.

Brilliant film. One or two questionable characters and the premise might have been a bit far fetched (don't really want to give anything away but you'll know what I mean if you watch it).

However the psychology, build up, setting, creepy scare factor (there were clenched buttocks) and connection between the main characters (they have been married) is brilliant. You don't see anything of the "riots", and that seriously adds to the feel of the film.

What's kind of ironic is that it's set in a radio station yet they didn't seem to mix the volumes of the music against the dialogue very well but screw it, I'd watch it again.
