Green Zone - Finally got round to watching it. It's was okay, but I feel a lot of middle east based war films/thrillers seem to be going over the same ground.

I think Generation Kill was probably the best attempt at covering the Iraqi invasion/war so I didn't feel like I got anything new from Green Zone. A good thriller but a little cliche at time.

24 Hour party people.Really entertaining,it was interesting to see how they went from the end of the 70's till the beggining of the rave scene.

Kiss kiss bang bang - 8/10 a modern film noir take with a bunch of humor, really enjoyed it.

saw Batman Begins on the box on saturday and Tron at the imax on sunday

not sure how i've missed Batman Begins for so long, it's a good solid intro to the story, some nice ideas and an enjoyable enough film, can't wait to see the other one now

where's the Tron thread? i quite enjoyed this, glad i saw it at the imax, a couple of really nice 3D moments but nothing to really warrant wearing silly glasses

visually stunning, the score was class (unbelievably i managed to forget daft punk were involved until the first notes, that was a nice 'surprise')

it says a lot for the aesthetics that it had a colander of a script, no character development at all and as a consequence, no real emotional involvement yet it was still quite good

p.s. daft punk rule - it's all kicking off in the club, people de-rezzed left right and centre, do we run? no, crank up the bpm

Yea that scene was the best in the whole movie imo purely for the music, couldnt help but dig along with my leg haha :D

I really didn't like Tron, the scenario is really poor (instead of having Daft Punk they should have hired a scenarist) and the 3D is disappointing (I didn't see on a imax screen though)

Music was good though, and yeah the only good bit is in this "club" when Daft Punk play derezzed (and that says a lot about the whole movie)

(The strange white man is the only interesting character)

Kind of, I new there was going to be some kind of twist, thats why it has 7.3 on IMDb, if it didnt have that twist it would have had 2.3
