yeah thats a crackin documentary, does a good job of explaining the subject in an accessible manner. slightly depressing tho how no lessons seem to have been learnt and the financial sector is just allowed to continue where it left off. it was entertaining to see some of the proponents and actors of the modern banking system squirm under uncomfortable questioning. its criminal that despite what happened, glass-steagall hasnt been re-enacted, surely that should have been the first point of order.
another documentary ive heard plenty of people bang on about is Senna, about some legendary F1 racer. havnt seen it myself n know nothing about racing, but by all accounts a captivating watch whether ur into racing or not. id reccomend 'double agent: the eddie chapman story' which i watched recently. more of a tv documentary than a cinematic one, but its an intriguing wartime story about a thief turned nazi spy turned double agent. i think its up on youtube |
