Cheers Clement for mailing your friends,

See you in there...I hope.

The whole night was a bit special.

One of the Klaxons was crowd surfing during that Justice set, he got up on stage and security were fairly rough with him. Busy P and someone else intervened and the security guy backed down...

Goose were awesome. Should have played for longer.

Kris Menace and Alan Braxe were excellent, great slot for them 4 - 6, uplifting house at the early hours.

Justice were intense and totally rocked the place. Probably the best night I've had at Fabric.

so just to clarify - the 'justice live' set is just a laptop set with some massive marshall stacks?!?

FABRIC on Friday was pretty average tbh.....

The Chems played a proficient set but it was a bit too techy/ambient for my tastes! I went back towrds the end of the night and it was better.

Pedro's set was identical to the one I always hear him play but was obviously lots of fun. It was a funny old crowd - they didn't really know what to make of the EdBang stuff. After lots of rough stuff like 'Transexual' and SebastiAn, 'Radio Fireworks' got the crowd moving again.

Justice's set was OK....they looked great onstage behing the big cross etc, but their set didn't really get going. It seemed more like a PR exercise for the album launch than the brilliant party sets I'm used to them playing! They seemed to play all their own productions and I don't think the Justice sound works over long periods - it needs to be mixed up with other stuff. It was VERY slow too - I found myself stomping rather than dancing my way through it. Too much 'We Are Your Friends' too. It was funny to watch Pedro watching over the proceedings! Someone stagedived backwards during D.A.N.C.E. and the crowd parted, leaving him landing on his back with a thud! He had the right idea though...it was more like a rock concert than a DJ set (which is obviously the effect they wanted)!

I was looking forward to a nice French Touch set from Braxe & Menace afterwards but they confirmed that they don't know how to DJ! I've got so much respect from them both as producers, but they evidently dont know how to structure a set or judge a crowd. Very poor.

blahblahblah!
