Ableton mixing question

so ive jst downloaded ableton demo to see how hard it is to get into. looks nails, been messing about with it for couple of hours and havent really found anything lol. dont understand how you cue a track or mix out one and bring in another..tempo etc. would quite like to do a little mix or minimix but seems impossible so far.
