It was rammed from the word go for me. Just totally appalling music to warm up to. That moshing is pretty standard these days for a Justice gig with the Justice mentalist brethren....wanna slap them more than slow walking people at times :-)

My mate did Sheffield and KOKO and thankfully Im not the only one when I said KOKO was seriously sub standard and was poor in comparison, probably enjoyable if you went right near the front and didnt stay there and just took drugs and water for 2 hours. Personally id rather get mullered and hear the stuff from all parts of a club rather than have to swim my way to the front 10 rows (which I did do also) through soaking sceney 17 year olds who go there 'cos its the coolest right now' Anyone who did their first time.....it gets way better than this. Try Justice Live again somewhere else

Tragic venue, I may end up going there again for a Friday NME night but to be honest I wont be too bothered if i never see the place again. Once a theatre always a theatre....unless you rip its guts out and start again.....which I thought they did......

What do you mean what happened to Klaxons DJ set? Jamie and James were in the DJ box from about 8.45... or do you mean, what happened as in "that was terrible" ?

Okay maybe i got it a bit wrong, probably courtesy of the bottle of wine i downed 5 minutes before entering koko.

I didnt even attempt getting near the front, was quite happy bopping from one of the balconys with my pint of guiness in hand

Was my first time in koko and i did enjoy it, although think i would have enjoyed it more half sober and if it didnt finish so bloody early.
Unfortunatly didnt end up going anywhere afterwards, just returned to the hostel and woke up aload of foreigners in our room, offering them pizza by sticking it in there face and trying to get them to have as gooda time as we were, suprisingly no one spoke to us in the morning!

I ended up in the back of a kebab shop having a rave with cans stella and about 30 randoms and a few mates and an arabian elvis type guy singing with a guitar collecting cash after each tune, fairly surreal but thats CAmden......oh and this was after getting started on by a crack head dealer wandering the streets

To be fair I didnt go in for at least an hour so I felt it was busy from then on.

I wouldnt go that far. Students I reckon mostly. It certainly wasnt full of Hoxton Heroes. I didnt see a single pair or lensless sunnies

To me though johnny got it right, what happened to Klaxons DJ set exactly. Maybe if I was standing underneath a speaker or somewhere near the front I may have made out what they were playing but I was busy coordinating the wearabouts of friends over 237 floors whilst listening to horrible music in the background attempting to figure out if there actually was any decent amount of space other than the main dancefloor cos the sound was trash from the balconies. I thought the shape of the place would have helped noise carry.

Yes.

At least it wasn't full of Australians like everywhere else in London though.
