For me? Muse. Their light show is awesome! I would probably say Daft Punk as well, but I've never actually been to see them myself.

Franz Ferdinand are awesome live, they have so much energy. That and a Long Island, NY indie band, now broken up, called Last Week were my favorite concerts.

Then again I was only 18 or so and on a lot of drugs so that pretty much vittos my review. But all electronic acts are limited to what they can or can't do live-wise, a couple of faces bobing about behind a bank of synths lit up by the glow of their PC screen is about all your gonna get. However that hasn't stopped me enjoying storming live sets by the from Underworld, Orbital, The Chems as much as I enjoyed gigs by the likes Primal Scream, PJ Harvey and Radiohead. Horses for courses innit. Tourist,,,, it's our blog innit! Mixes from Bill Brewster, People Get Real, Weatherall, Matt Waites, Underground Ressistance, Sean Johnston and of course us!! G'waaan!! |

and for the record, they are one of my favourite live acts alongside radiohead, massive attack, beastie boys, doves, daft punk, brand new, madness (dont laugh) and weezer
coldplay at glastonbury 05 was pretty special too and i used to love lostprophets, hundred reasons, capdown, hell is for heroes and all that. probably collectivey saw them over 20 times. |

Brand New were so good when i saw them at Apollo, played so much of their stuff as well, was amazing. Glassjaw down in Brixton over summer were fantastic, catched the Tour de France down there by chance which were fun.

I can't believe so many people are saying soulwax, they are nowhere near the best live act. Yeah there's a bit of energy and it's good fun, but it's mostly pre-programmed and when I saw them they were even miming. I've seen pretty much unknown bands piss all over a soulwax performance. Don't get me wrong I did enjoy it when I saw them play 'live' and I think they are awesome producers, but they are not not one of the best live acts out there.
The bst modern acts I've seen are Muse, Bloc Party and (surpisingly) LCD Soundsystem. |
