Disclosure don't do it for me. They make pretty nice music, but it just sounds band-wagon-y to me. Not sure why.

Yea, I'm in the same boat as you, Attack Yourself! I'm into a whole lot of future garage, but feel like Disclosure's sound is more distinct than many of the current bandwagoners. A lot of this stuff seems like it could all be from the same artist. And there's way too many Burial soundalikes that I still enjoy. It just makes me sad at the lack of innovation

i dislike disclosure. just a bit bland / bandwagon / no thanks. i like my music with a bit of rudeness in general. or just producers who are referencing say el-b rather than burial. nothing against burial, just people who try and copy him always seem to produce shit which doesn't really have any bang to it. which by the way, this track has got fucking cartloads of:

for the record, im becoming pretty bored of aaliyah / cassie / brandy sampling trax, but there are definitely exceptions, and this is one of them.

You're saying Disclosure are Burial copycats but tbh (aside from the R&B samples) I really don't hear much of Burial's sound in their productions.

Doesn't really bring to mind the cavernous reverb of "Near Dark", does it?
