Saw Ivory Tower last night. Pretty funny stuff, certainly an auteur piece of work. Tiga is absolutely brilliant in it. And there's an interesting, just about disguised cameo from somebody notable, dressed sporting a head towel and sunglasses indoors, jamming on a double bass...

Oh, and Gonzo's solo piano show afterwards was wonderful too. As we were in Salford, he kept returning to this Stewart Lee-esque takedown of Champagne Supernova.

Gah. That recording my band was doing fell through, looks like we got fucked over by the radio station. They said it was something to do with copyright, but that makes no sense, so my guess is the guy from the station that was supposed to do guest vocals bottled it, and needed an excuse.
