the final scene of the latest episode was good. also the actors who play walkers are pretty good and the makeup is perfect.

I watch it, and sort of enjoy it, but this season has been pretty crap, and ridiculous.
**SPOILERS** 7 episodes looking for a little girl, and she was in the barn the whole time? How did they not notice the noise coming from the barn before? Why does nothing they do make much sense? Good and funny deconstruction of the whole thing here: http://videogum.com/421311/the-walking-d...tv/recaps/ |

barn's quite far from the house, how would then notice mumbling coming from there?

but the zombies could easily destroy the barn and escape. they were breaking doors and walls earlier. or these were any different kind, peaceful zombies.

<SPOLER!!!>
really liked this series but the second season is really bad..watching it online and just skipped through the last two episodes because i found it so boring and was dashed when they found out that girl became a zombie..also there is no suspense curve which would make you wait for the next episode. the reviews say its illogical that Herschel didn't tell the group about a little girl they found and brought to the barn but in my opinion he didn't tell them because he did not want to smash their hopes that way and maybe since he is considering zombies as sick people herschel waits for some kind of medicine/cure.. </SPOLER!!!> |

You have to be able to build up the characters so it has more of an impact if and when anything happens to them. it can't be non stop zombie action all the time. the quiet parts add the depth. just wait til the new year, it'll be absolute mayhem. |

I can deal with a slower pace to build the characters but personally I think they are doing a poor job of making them interesting, and a lot of them are doing my head in.
I'm not desperate for more zombie head chopping action as too much of that every week would make lessen the impact when there is peril. They do need to move it on from this farm story arc quick as although the pay-off to Sophia's disappearance was great, they could have easily have trimmed a couple of episodes from it. I guess that's the problem with scheduling 6 episodes and then a break. They had to stretch out a storyline to 6 episodes when 3 or 4 would have been fine. |

Just watching those Zombies on TV makes me fanatical. Jesus! A thoroughly entertaining episode is how I would like to describe it actually!

I agree, they need to get off the farm. They've followed the comics so far so *SPOILERS*.... they'll find the prison soon and people will get their heads lopped off. Feed me a straw hat... |

The scene in the bar was actually quite tense and good! I want this to be good so I'll give it a chance from here.
But seriously some of this is just shoddy. The scene when they're driving off on the pickup, and then the arm falls off the back of the truck, that REALLY annoying and stupid woman jumps off, goes to pick up the arm, and then gets back on the back of the truck. END SCENE. What was that for?? That was just pointless, absolutely nothing! |

just gave this another go, the bar scene made up for everything else in this season
at least, before the strangers came in |

I really liked the entire bar scene. Felt like something out of Deadwood. Definitely had that Western showdown feel to it.

Disappointed to hear such mixed views on the second season. Will probably still purcahse though and waste a weekend watching it.

The barn shoot out has changed them all. plus that arm was badass, you could feel the weight when she picked it up. Nicotero is the bomb yo. |

I'm glad how that bar scene ended, I didn't expect that from Rick tbh. But that scene with the arm was absolutely unnecessary, I was thinking that something is going to happen but actually nothing happened haha.

seriously how do ya have a problem with the arm scene??
i thought it was completely necessary and done in the right approach to make it seem nearly normal and everyday. I thought if anything they should have went back to the car with Lori instead of leaving it at the initial crash only to include a jump ahead in the trailer for the next episode. |
