zzt is typically a lot of noise and big baselines and just general choas, dont get me wrong zzt is one of the few acts that makes this kind of obvious music well, but its a simple formula, made specifically for "the kids" cause kids like big baselines and a lot of noise...

Now i'm willing to agree. Comparing ZZT to techno/house/tech house music it does sound childish. The whole electro genre is childish, but let me say that ZZT is less childish than the rest. It got influences from many different genres, ZZafrika even has some Chicago house in it, Tiga said it.
For me really childish music is something like Lyposuct, Peanuts Club or all that noisy electro stuff like G-tronic, examples could be a lot. ZZT is higher level.

I agree with Niko. IMO, it takes a bit of a refined taste (years of listening to music) to even 'get' or feel ZZT as most of it is really disorganized and all over the place - a bit too bleepy and stressful for the average person to get into. Listen to lower state and tell me a kid could sit through that song...they'd be asking "what the hell is all this noise?" it would probably seem like chaos to them.

I can't believe this is a fucking argument. how pretentious do you actually want to be?
