got a few stuff coming up in the next couple. aswell as annie mac, sinden & herve ive got digitalism, babshambles & dizzee and m.i.a.

would like to go to pendulum too but i dont think i can afford to go to it as well as the other stuff im goin to which is a bit of a shame

cant wait for everything else though

aye its gunna be a crazy month. ive got soulwax , pendulum , digitalism and midnight juggernaughts!!!! , coming home for jesse rose and the whip instead of wax on though , seen annie mac loads this year and fancy a change from digital!

Dizzees supporting Babyshambles at the arena, wouldnt of gone if it was just one of em like but although there are alot of things i dont like about babyshambles i do like their music, looking forward to Dizzee more though, loved him at Leeds fest last year

Im hoping to go, got my tickets in the post on my way out of the house on Thursday, they sent me 2 despite makign the fuss about one per person, lol! Weve got a few tickets between my mates but dunno if anyone will end up going! If anybody didnt get tickets and needs one let me know and ill work out whos comign and if we have spares when i get back up north!

Digital's Website is listing DJ Mehdi as playing on Wednesday too!!! Starts at 8 and finished at 2!

Yeah from facebook I just read it as Mehdi was one of the special guests involved on the tour (not Newcastle cos hes down to play the Brighton date)

"DJ Mehdi (Ed Banger), Filthy Dukes and eLPLATE have all been added to Unitaur - the free tour of universities (get it now?) held by Vice Magazine.

The three new names will hit the road alongside These New Puritans, The Teenagers and Crystal Castles, with DJ Mehdi joining them at Brighton and Filthy Dukes will be behind the decks at DQ, Sheffield."

But its Digitals site saying it to....................... I guess its just a mistake tho, boo!

Not only that but the guy who created the FB event had info saying that Mehdi was playing at ALL gigs, which is why I went skitzoid til I checked mehdis space and emailed the guy.

I think by this:

"Special Guests will appear at all dates including:

DJ Mehdi
Errors
Filthy Dukes"

He means there will be speacial guests at ALL dates, not that each guest is at every one surely?

Digital's site has now been changed and Mehdi's name is no longer on, lol, I emailed them about it but didnt hear back :lol: guess its a no then!

Dunno the full reason, but just been looking for new venue for a while i think. think the retro thing might have been a big reason.

Havent been to play for ages, just seem stale to me, might do it some good in a new place.

Nice to see some big name dj's etc on sat nights at empire, iam sure they will have summat lined up. olfo prob tell us more on that front ...

yeah more often than not play was shit! Still would of been nice to have had a "last ever" one there! Used to go every week when i was underage!

looks snazzy .... just a shame play is a bit poo thesedays

last 10 or so times i went the only reason was for my love of the empire. the night itself had just turned wank.

the music downstairs was the same playlist every single week, maybe a different order every now and again.

1st floor was just too crazy . what with dj munroe and his magical sound effectsboard

and the gods.... well since they turned it white its just been complete utter shite , only good thing about it was that big fuck off sized fan on the roof that i practically worshipped in the summer

fuck knows what the empires going to do on saturdays though . bet play was making them a shedload of cash , cheap ( i assume) DJs and rammed full every week.
