Anybody got any recomends for the Newcastle area? Been living out the area for so long I'm well outta touch wif the goings on up ere.
Heard good things about 'Nice' on Saturdays and the 'Blackmagik@other rooms' night, but it dosn't seem to be on anymore? Any town-ites point me in the direction of owt good.

Ask Geoff Leopard about Black magik on the space page, back in Feb I think.

By Royal Appointment is monthly in Sunderland and play minimal, techy, electro, prog etc. Easy to find on the space.

That was the choice, say NO and go see SMD live make a racket with bleeps n bombs or say YEH and give it a right good bash. It was an easy choice really. Especially as we are going to see Justice and Ridha the next night

ive been waiting to see justice live for far too long. been wanting to see the hookers for ages too actually, 2 for price of one means i cannae miss out

digital has some classics coming up in the next few months to be fair , paul woolford , jesse rose , erol , smd

that ape x thing sounds promising like , cosmics an awesome place for a night like that too

dunno what night it is at red rooms thats got phil kieran booked but i feel that i need to find out

Yeah well youve gotta go really, ive had a few justice live fixes and i wouldnt even be bothered about seeing them again that much so soon but Boys Noize the same night means its unmissable, just hope they both have a good bit of variation from the last times i saw them

Check the myspaz for BlackMajik, top night the last couple of times. Spoke to Geoff who's the resident down there who's a thoroughly nice chap and his marra Marc who were DJing at Camp David before Wax:on a while ago and they reckon it's coming back in March, and I quote, 'In a big way!'. Nice on Saturdays is a cool night too. Obviously you've got Wax:Urn and also a mention to Jukebox for a more indie thing is canny on Fri at t'other rooms.

Aye, Saw Ewan Pearson recently at Habit, was a top night, would recommend it!

As for Woolford, I'll be seeing him at the We Love...Shindig night on the 19th (I think) with Serge Santiago, most looking forward to that one at the moment!

Agreed, brilliant DJ, never a bad night when I've seen him

Not sure why i'm thinking this but i'm sure Justin Martin is on with Jesse Rose in March at Shindig. I may be wrong though, i'll double check.

May have to head for the empire if Zabiela is on soon then :D

used to know Woolford when I lived in Leeds and before he was an international superstar DJ. Canny lad, he used to be good mates with a couple of the lads I lived with.

Mad that he's proper famous now.
