Yep. His mixing was pretty tight. But I think a lot of the tunes that Dave 8-Bit played we're quite rinsed out, blogged and over hyped.
I prefer 'Fake Blood'.

;)

Cheers Steve! Nice one.

I was pretty hammered like, but I can still remember the highlight of the night being Cooper unplugging the decks while I was in the middle of mixing. What a guy!

,,, not to mention the 2 glasses of wine he knocked over and when his midi leeds got tangled up with the arm of the deck, scratching the needle violently across the record! ha, ha. He's like a one man riot! Had a proper laugh like.
we all ended up at at party somewhere in Longbenton, Dave 8-bit came back with us an left about 6 in the morning after failing a number of times to score with the bird who's house it was, wearing a comedy jesters hat for some reason?

I got home at half 1 this afternoon. Lost my phone, keys, coat and only had 1 sock on. Took me 15 minutes to buy a packet of fags at the Metro station I was that fucked.

Ruff dosn't even start to describe how I'm feeling right now dude. Pretty much just feel like walking into the sea.

I love it how these stories of comedy errors get inflated for public viewing. :D

The (single) wine glass that got smashed luckily had nothing in and yes 'that lass' was the cause of said accident throwing clothes at me. That girl is a walking car crash / trainwreck / riot waiting to happen once every hour. Invite that girl to any party and something memorable will happen, guaranteed every time.

Yes I admit unplugging the power to a turntable but that wasnt noticeable really...it was more just like a breakdown :D

And the arm incident. Fapesta didnt warn me he may not make it back from the bar in time to put his next track on, and while I was in the booth in an utterly battered state getting my groove on I noticed there wasnt long left so got steve to put another track on while I powered laptop back up and sorted the wires out. It was a totally perfect screetch when the arm flew across that record though, couldnt have done that again if I tried.

All in all, in the space of 5 hours 2 incidents is good going. No fires, blood, fighting, falling over or anything like that. And cans of red stripe and wine were involved. Playing 2 sets for more than 3 hours was good too.

Sorry I didnt play bill cosby steve, I know youre still well gutted about that. I just forgot :)

The last chopper out of Saigon was better organised than we were Mike! LOL.
But that scratch was truely 1 in a million.
Ironically it was 'Idiotproof' that was playing. Another myth we managed to debunk! ;)

P.S. Managed to loose my phone on Friday, (amongst other things!) Can you drop me your number on my Myspace please, need to get in touch to get me stuff I rammed in ya bag. Cheers blud.

Its a simple chart of which ive forgotten the name of

1) Is there a social event tonight?
Yes - Go to question 2
No - Go to bed

2) Are you rough from last night?
Yes - Get back on it
No - Excellent, get back on it

Follow that until theres nothing to do
