Risque. i think me and Ross had the misfortune of having nowhere else to go after the MIA gig and went in for this. Didnt last long. Was appalling. I swear they played Souja boy(prob 3 different versions) 3 times in the space of 20-25 min. eurgh, total gash RnB and nee decent hip hop

Actually yeah I think it was. I got an invite for Risque on facebook and I was nearly sick. I had to restrain myself to not fire an enslaught of abuse. I think it came from the Tup Tup group too

interesting times at Digital. went to Shindig in Feb to see Braxe and the place was full of coonts. First time I'd been for years and vowed we'd never go back.

be canny funny if things wen full circle and they'll end up back at the Riverside / Foundation (is it still open these days ?)

i would like to point out that utopian have in fact owned digital for the last 18 months, and have never had any intention of changing the club and its music policy in any way shape or form, nor do they in the future. As for the management team - the real management team who actually put the hard graft and dedication into their jobs are still there. The only people who have left are the very same who sold their share to utopian 18 months ago, and are now having a paddy because they cant buy it back boo hoo. And these are the same people who bad mouthed foundation and led to its eventual closure, looks like history repeating itself.
As for this event being free at stereo? Good luck there guys, with a capacity of 250 and shindigs hardcore 500+ goers, i dont see how this will work.

AND

no offence guys......i love shindig, just think its a bit rubbish and childish the way things are going down at the moment. Brett, my job, and everyone elses at the clubs is safe. As sad as it is to see events like this leave, digital has no intention of turning into some generic cheesey venue, and plans to keep to its current music policy im sure there are other djs/promoters/organisers etc just waiting to come to the fore, and as yet there appears to be no permanent venue for shindig and turbs . Besides, the bar tenders, other support staff and especially the management have always been good to me so i would feel like i was cheating on them if i went elsewhere!
