I didn't like Civilization initially but it has grown on me. The chorus and the hook are great. 1st verse is dodgy though.

Not feeling the Oizo remix at all. Actually had to check that I didn't have another song playing the background. Wouldn't mind hearing a dub version.
And well The Fucking Champs... hmmm Wasn't the ed banger all star remix we were hoping for |

Really don't like Oizo's remix. Jaymo & Andy George played it the other night and I thought even they sounded a bit baffled by it.

as i expected this EP has the correctly mastered version of the track. I figure the previous release was a rush to catch the Adidas ad wave. Oizo remix is baffling.

well you have to consider the remixes they actually release are the direction they relate to the most while the other "indepentend" remixes are mostly a projection of the current "scene"
it's cool of them not to give so much of a fuck choosing the fucking champs to do a cover. I mean, they're at least doing they're own experiments. gaspard said he was really into them on an interview a while ago. even though the EP is not that good it's nice to see they're not so concerned about perpetuating Cross and aiming for something new |
