So I've got massive post-Glasto blues. I keep thinking about what an amazing time I had all weekend. Saw loads of amazing bands, and have loads of amazing memories. But one really memorable performance was from this group, Raghu Dixit, who I didn't know much about before.

When they came onto the John Peel stage they all looked so incredibly happy, genuinely pleased to be there. Their enthusiasm was infectious, even with the technical difficulties they initially faced. When the singer opened his mouth it was genuinely moving stuff, beautiful voice and the music was entirely different to what I was expecting. When they played this song, it was a real goosebump moment for me. Upliftingly beautiful stuff.

Don't know loads about James Blake, just heard Jarvis Cocker play this song on his radio show a little while ago and noticed he's playing Greenman festival which I'm going to in August. Just like the nice minimalistic and downbeat sound he's got going on.

Such raw energy has been put into this track. So simple and so effective

Yeah I didn't realise that James Blake is like the 'hottest new artist on the planet' when I posted that, so I guess everyone had already heard it.
Hopefully this post will make up for it.
This song has so much emotion, which swings from darkness to happiness throughout it. Love the chord structure and his voice is immense.

picked up an edit of this one yesterday by pacific/loverman on moxie. never heard of this guy before, the tune is from the late 70s and produced by martin hannet, who also worked with joy division and co-founded factory records. love the quirky left field sounds and lyrics.

I've given this song 2 listens just to make sure, and I've come to the conclusion I can't stand it.

i have 'the last good day of the year' by cousteau in my head today, it's a glorious crisp morning here in West london so that might have something to do with it

i'll try to remember to put the video up when i get home unless someone wants to do the honours...
