Tiga was on Jaymo & Andy George's show on Radio 1 tonight, said that the Zzafrika remixes were going to be Turbo's 100th release. No word on a date though.

Here's the ones that I can remember, assuming these are all going to be included?

Afrojack remix
Gesaffelstein remix
Julio Bashmore remix
Clouds remix (not sure about this one?

Looking forward to finally getting a hold of the Julio one, really liked what I heard of it in the My Name Is Tiga podcast. Interested to hear the Light Year one too.

Nope, Proxy did a remix for Vulcan Alarm! Tiga played it and its on youtube ;)

Afrojack remix is anything but pathetic, it's even really good. And yes it's official, why are people so surprised? Tiga plays out Afrojack songs a lot.

There's also a Plein Soleil remix.

And no one mentioned the best part, it will also be released in a deluxe triple vinyl boxset edition.

Sidenote: ZZT album is officially finished.

He said it last night on a phone interview with Jaymo & Andy George. It' finished, so now he could start his new solo album in the near future.

Probably still a while until it sees the light of day though.

Exactly, I hate the dutchyness but apart from that Afrojack is a great producer.

the truth is afrojack = fail. any/all of his stuff is garbage. pure refuse. he's like calvin harris, entirely for the unintelligible/braindead wet panty bimbos and their super cool boyfriends. afrojack sucks. period.

Afrojack doesn't suck period. He churns out a lot of generic bullshit, true, but he still has his moments. Pon De Floor, Ghettoblaster, Bubblegum, his remix of Spencer & Hill, all great tunes. And his production skills are brilliant.

His Zzafrika remix is shit, mind.

Like that 8-bit-ish bassy bit.

Wouldn't mind a dub of the Gesaffelstein remix either

where can I hear the afrojack one? I found a "rip" on mediafire but I'm pretty sure it's one that some EAFer made as a joke to mock his repetitive dutchy production?
