So the essential is that ZZT album is finished, 10 tracks will be included (3 of them already released but 7 brand new!), he don't know about a release date yet but WILL BE THIS YEAR!

Proxy album should be expected at the beginning of next year (supposedly January).

Tbh I wouldn't count on it for January 2012 by the way he said it. It was like maybe then, and "maybe" is most likely "probably a bit later".

I don't get how he says the ZZT album is done, complete. Yet on the Annie Mac show when she plays Vulcan Alarm (Proxy Remix) he sheds light on the album getting a release late this year.

Why so much of a gap?? wwhyyyyy

I'm pretty sure Proxy is just laying low and planning for world domination.

I don't love it, but it definitely isn't as bad as people say it is. Sounds like their older stuff.

Thoughts after my first proper listen to it:

Bashmore, Crowdpleaser and Plein Soleil are absolutely great.

On the banger side of things, my favorite is Afrojack. Gesaffelstein is good too, but he's done better and I don't like the intro. Loving Sound of Stereo too, looks like they're getting back on track. Light Year & Finger Prince has it's place but I'm not wow-ed by it.

If it is finished and they do release it later this year it will generate hype during the summer months and festivals/clubtours to select a final tracklist for the album better and generate hype. Or their release schedule is already booked up and they don't want to overflood on releases. Marketing basically I guess.

Bashmore remix is beautiful. Gesaffelstein remix is great, and has deserved the play it's gotten in mixes. A fan of the LY&FP remix too, and really don't understand why the Afrojack remix has been so overlooked.

Those are the four that have stayed in my playlist.

My guess is that the first time most of the people here heard it was that terrible version on YouTube ages ago.
Also, it is a Beatport exclusive. Who in his right mind buys stuff at Beatport?

Personally, I like it. It's a shame I will never own it. >:

Terrible version? It's pretty much the same.

And a lot of people buy stuff on Beatport.

...That's why people buy on Beatport.

That YouTube version sounded like some lame edit, but the actual rework sounds great. :)

the Afrojack rework is definitely NOT the worst track on the ep.
