Are you sure you didn't just hear the fake rip some EAFer made a while ago?

Just to be clear, here's the remix:

If the Bashmore one ain't released I'll be stupidly upset.

By far the best one imo.

Bashmore's and Afrojack's are my favourites so far... Unless Clouds deliver in a big way.

Afrojack's sounds pretty mediocre to me, but it's far from terrible. Bashmore + Gessaffelstein for me, although Light Year & Finger Prince's isn't far behind.

i dont really like the afrojack remix but in all honesty, the vast majority people here hate it because they cant make up their own minds and the discourse around him on this board is that he sucks, so they say that...

and as much as i like some of gessaffelstein's stuff, its all becoming a bit samey for me now....

the bashmore remix is absolutely glorious and im looking forward to seeing what clouds do too

lol

I don't like Afrojack remix either. I think Afrojack is a disaster in general but each to their own.

Light Year rmx didn't catch me at first but now i see it's really good.

Bashmore rmx is class and Gesaffelstein is great as well

This is seriously pissing me off. I know I should just ignore you but I can't. What exactly about Afrojack's remix do you find so objectionable?

EDIT: All this talk of him 'raping' the original... Are you serious? He's done barely anything to it!?!? Just some clever pitchbending and some different percussion.

What's the deal? Afrojack's remix is cool... Some people can't think by themselves I guess... Who gives a fuck who remixed it? If it's bad it's bad, if it's good it's good, no matter who the artist is... Narrow-minded people... And before someone says it, I know it's opinions, but saying you "hate" Afrojack's remix is kinda like saying you hate the original...

here's the thing boss, if I want to listen to the original Zzafrika, I listen to the original mix of Zzafrika.

if I wanna listen to a piece of shit take on it, I listen to afrojoke's remix.

saying 'oh, if you hate afrojacks remix you hate the original because it's so close' doesn't make sense to me. If anything afrojack's remix being so close to the original just shows how lazy of a remixer he is.

Seriously, what's so objectionable about his remix? What is it musically that's pissed you off so much?

I'm with Quentin on this one.

And don't see the Afrojack as lazy, but as respectful. He might as well have put a big bad dirty dutch synth on it like most of his other tracks.

its in human nature, hence why stuff like 'the club is alive' by JLS actually receive relative commercial success.

im not saying you personally cant make up your own mind, im saying that, almost certainly, some people can't.

also, respect the fact that some people enjoy afrojack and dont be so gratuitously contentious to make your e-penis throb you complete tool.

It's not like I expect people to love it, I just don't really get why people HATE it. Apart from the fact it was produced by Afrojack.

i'm still a little surprised that track wasn't put out on WALL records under the title

"Afrojack - Africazz" or something like that.

ill agree with skelefunk and the others. the afrojack mix isnt bad at all. to turn round and say the afrojack mix is shi*t is practically saying the original is sh*t. he's not really done much to change it. the main riff is there. the overall feel/energy is all still there only with a housey beat underneath. theres a couple of slight pitch bends but that hardly makes it a 'dutch' track, does it? it doesnt sound like any of his crappy dutchy silly squeeky tracks. dont understand how some forumers could love the finger prince mix but hate the afrojack mix.

I wish I could talk to ghosts... that'd be sweeeeeet
