Just came back from it, had no idea it was a live set. Looked like a standard CDJ setup from where I was.

Got insane footage of the song he closed with. The one that goes "reality" in a soft voice and then "na na naa". It's the track he's been removing off YouTube recently.

Amazing amazing set. Played all the new tracks in the track ID section. Videos to come soon.

Really looking forward to it, hopefully the quality is OK

Second one is his Derezzed remix?

Wasn't it just a DJ set?
Thought he said in an interview that he didn't want to do livesets.

Is the stereotype of Amsterdam being only about smoking pot and hookers true?
- Yes, it’s our daily job besides producing music. We also walk on wooden shoes and eat cheese all day (-TWR72)

I remember this quote. Saw him for halloween in Chicago about a year and a half ago. No new tracks but it was all stuff from his albums + Para One remixes. Kind of left disappointed honestly because I was hoping for a selector set, but those are the breaks...

Maybe I was the one who said in the Tracks ID forum that it could be a Derezzed remix, sorry for that. It's just that it really sounds like Tron but the whole 'reality' (awesome vocals btw) doesn't fit in.

I can't describe how awesome that youtube video is, holy mother of god. Really need to see him in May, hopefully he'll drop a set just like that.

they talk about his debut live show.

“This time I have to be back in Europe because I’m working on a live show,” the DJ, producer and label boss enthused. “There’s an opportunity for me to present it worldwide on a big festival next year, so that’s my big goal.”

There's nothing about doing a live set at Coachella explained there and he also states that he won't be doing a live set until "Next Year"
So more than likely he just played on cdj's at Coachella.

He confirmed on Twitter that the "reality" one is a new original of his.

"Live" can be weird term used in electronic music... Maybe it was a new light show ? At the beginning of one of those youtube vids he starts off his set with "Come With Me" and you can see behind him that the lights form the words "Come and "With" as the song slowly starts up. I've never seen that done before but I could be wrong.

Doesn't the light show mostly depend on the venue and not the artist?

Are light shows on the fly by the way? I'm surprised they're always perfectly in sync with the drops...

Usually would depend on the venue but if it's something that Boys Noize made himself then it might be a different story.. who knows like.

The "Come With Me" visual is quite known and is used a lot. At every venue there's always someone or more than one person who does the visuals (also a lightning guy ofcourse), I think it's quite under appreciated. Really adds something. And yeah, artist like Deadmau5 make it a part of their whole act.

He used #coachellalive in his tweet because that is the hashtag on twitter that everyone uses to refer to the festival. It's not that it's a live show or something.
