Hi,

Recently I've started creating a list of all the albums/compilations that have been released or will be released in 2011. 2011 has been a great year so far when you look at all the albums/compilations that have already been released. In my opinion 2010 was more about remixes and EPs but 2011 is like 2007 all over again. ;)

Electronic music is quite a big genre so I've only listed artists that have been mentioned in this forum once in a while. For example, I've not mentioned any dubstep artists in this list. Mostly because I'm not really interested in dubstep and they don't fit in with the artists mentioned.

I've listed them from the start of 2011 until the end of 2011.

Something like Moda vol. 1 compilation wouldn't really fit in but I sure feel like the Ed Banger compilation needs to be in this list...

I guess you're right but personally I think some compilations do.

If you mean compilations as in Cr2 records compilations with shit that is 2+ years old on it, don't include it. If compilation is meant as in HOLY BALLS ALL NEW TRAXX, include it

I have received a PM with a listing of a lot of albums. I will update the OP tomorrow. :)

Don't even know how I could forget Siriusmo's "Mosaik", I even have that on CD... Strange, still listen to it at least once a week.

Should I list;
- OSTs? For example, Hanna OST by Chemical Brothers and the Tron OST by Daft Punk. Should they be counted as albums?
- Let The Chidren Techno?
- Super Acid compilation?
- Miami Noize 2011?
- Siriusmo compilation (I think this shouldn't be included while the others should)

Release date of Justice was old, got that from some interview a while ago, will update.

The whole reason behind this is that I want to be able to look back at 2011 in a decent way. When all the "Best of 2010" lists came on blogs/websites, almost everyone mentioned tracks from the last months without considering tracks that were released in the beginning of 2010. Which is unfair in my opinion. Example: I'm afraid that there won't a single ZZT-remix on any "Top 10 remixes of 2011" list, just because people forget tracks and are all into the new stuff which is released in November/December.

Please mention the release date, otherwise I'll have to search for every album and look for the release date...

I have decided to include compilations and OSTs, I think they need to be part of this list. :)

I know, that's why I'm asking people here for more albums. Instead of stating the obvious you could also help me by telling me something I didn't know yet.
