What's with the whole hip hop thing? Don't like it at all.
Edit: Alright, I do like some classics but other than that... Every time I log in there's someone playing hiphop, just annoying. |

i think the reason we're getting a bit of hip hop is that people are probably playing some of their more unusual/leftfield songs - have to say i've picked up a fair bit of decent hiphop in the past couple of days. that said, there is definitely too much grime going on..

The hip-hop thing is a bit of fun and it's nice to diversify. I must say I find listening to house all day a bit fatiguing, and it's fun to see people throw down some cheesy fun tunes occasionally. But I've also heard some great new hip-hop I didn't know before.
And it's always nice to lay down something like Chali 2na - Don't Stop and just hear as simple a word of appreciation as 'VIBES'. p.s. Interesting getting people's reactions on untested tunes too. Like: Slap in the Bass - Egypt (Hostage Remix) and Marchand - Starlove Both got great reactions and for some reason I wasn't expecting that. |
