I heard that the Shindig (presents: Future) side of things (Sebastien Leger, Jimpster, Scott Bradford....) will take place upstairs with the Soulwax side of things (Soulwax, 2manyDJs, Riton.....) downstairs. Dunno if that means they will stick a stage infront of the DJ booth like they did for LCD not so long ago with a sound desk behind the silver bars? or if Soulwax will play upstairs in other rooms as they have at past Radio Soulwax events, and the night continues downstairs after??

Well, if I think long and hard I can prob name more than that but I havnt been as many as you would think having mates that are only just getting into my stuff. Been to a couple stoneloves which has always been just ridiculously busy and hot back in the day when pretty much anyone would say yes to an indie night. A few occasions where ive gone in ,only to have to carry a mate out wasted and get taxi and the odd few sebastian, surkin and erol ones. Not many. Should have moved to newcastle long time ago really

Just got my soulwax ticket along with another 5 for my mates, was a wallet cripling 96quid, lol, seems so much when its put together like that!

The Shindig presents Future night is indeed upstairs (Sat night is Shindig so i'm surprised they have made space downstairs) the Soulwax event will be in the main room. 2manyDJ's did NYE in the main room, and it went down well even though it was 5am which is astounding for Newcastle.

Digital is a doddle to get round as there are only 4 rooms of which only 3 are open normally. Digital has 2 floors and the Other Rooms bar opens around 12 (half way up the stairs). At a push the upstairs of the Other Rooms is open, although I think the smoking ban (and this rooms balcony) has helped to open the place up. Once upon a time this room had a VW camper van in it! If you find this place dark you should of been a regular at Foundation. The place was pitch black, but brilliant as a dirty club should be :)

The other rooms has 3 rooms doesnt it? The first one on ground level with DJ usually in far right corner and up the stairs where the stage is, then through the doors to dark club type part with DJ booth at back and bar on right

All in all thats a lot of rooms if they open the other rooms up on sat

The thru the doors to the dark club bit is Digital Room 2, depending whats on they use different combos!

Its also pretty easy to get round, there are stairs on booth sides on the DJ booth in the main room, the ones on the left bring you out behind the DJ booth in Room 2, whilst the ones on the right (which are the ones over the bar) take you up halfway level with the DJs from here you can go thru to the Other Rooms downstairs (sometimes VIP) or up the rest of the way to Digital's room 2 opposite the dj booth, then from room 2 you can get thru to upstairs in other rooms if its open where the stage and balcony are! If all 4 rooms are open, theres also stairs between the two other rooms rooms!

8 of us coming from Edinburgh for this. Glad souwax will be in the main room this time....last time it felt a bit weird wathing them in that small space (take it that was the other rooms).

now to place bets on the que length ? im guessing the huge amount of people picking up tickets on the door using there card isnt going to speed up the monster ques :o ,

defiently dont want to be sobering up in the Q again like wax on last month
