Hot Creations never cease to amaze me. I think they are the only record label I know who's entire catalogue of tracks sound exactly the same.

Just ordered my girfriend some earrings for a birthday present, fully aware that they were non-refundable. Just got them in the post and they look much bigger than they did in the pictures, and I'm 99% positive she won't like them. £90 down the shitter.

Girlfriend is insisting we listen to the M83 album at every opportunity. Really not my cup of tea.

Yup, those are the stated conditions. Which is fair enough.

does she have all the other albums? if not... brownie points to be had there and they're all better than the current dross thus saving your ears

Good point. I own most of the other albums (I did actually used to like M83 in small doses) so will encourage her to listen to them instead. At least the old albums have a bit more focus, and some memorable tracks.

Got a screen protector for the iPad and I don't like how it looks or feels. And I missed a few bits of dust or whatever so they're showing up as reminders of my ineptitude. Wouldn't mind but it cost €13.

I understand this defines #firstworldproblems but that's what this thread is for right?

It's not a cover, it's just a plastic film to protect from scratches etc

Deeply lamenting my decision to cover in the office for these two days inbetween Chrimbo and new year. Canteen and shop are both shut, I've annoyingly got lots of work to do and all I can think about is going home and playing Zelda on the Wii.

Spent too much money yesterday and now I don't think I can afford to go out for NYE...or leave the house for most of January for that matter.

I hate the fact that people I know keep coming to me with their problems. Fair enough, they need help, but I've got my own shit to deal with as well...

Was up in London for a mate's birthday - dinner in Busaba and then cocktails in Casita. Great time but damned expensive. Then went to Westfield yesterday and bought a North Face jacket (with xmas money mind). It's not just then, but my account's been taking a pounding of late.

Robo that sucks - commiserations.
